Eynesbury's 3-3 comeback secured with Mienambolo's late goal

Fraelias Mienambolo came off the subs bench and netted a stoppage time equaliser as Eynesbury recovered a 1-3 deficit to snatch a point at the death.

Earlier Axel Owusu scored to make it 2-3 just a minute after replacing the unfortunate Stevan Shaw, who was stretchered off with a knee injury.

Owusu ghosted past two defenders before firing the ball into the roof of the net for his first goal for the club.

Godmanchester Rovers Football Ground could have new 3G pitch

A planning application has been submitted for a brand new 3G Artificial Grass Pitch at a Huntingdonshire town's football ground.

The teams at Godmanchester Rovers Football Ground could soon be playing on the new pitch after the application was validated by Huntingdonshire District Council on September 2.

The plans seek to create the 3G Artificial Grass Pitch along with perimeter fencing, hardstanding areas, a storage container, floodlights and an access footpath at the club on Bearscroft Lane.

Drake books a holiday while on a high from Saturday's superb comeback win
Ollie Drake was in such a good mood with Godmanchester Rovers’ late comeback win on Saturday he went home and booked a holiday –for after the season has finished.

Goddy went a goal down against the run of play ten minutes from time at home to Brantham Athletic in the Eastern Counties Premier, but Mickey Hyem levelled after good work by Harrison Radwell.

Goddy weren’t finished, however, and Austen Diaper turned home Ross Munro’s free kick for the winner to make it four wins out of five for Drake's men after a difficult first half of the season.

Godmanchester Rovers keeper will hang up his gloves at the end of the season
Niall Conroy insists he will never say never to returning in the future, but is looking forward to taking a break from football.

The former St Ives, St Neots, Histon, Soham, Cambridge City and Haverhill Borough keeper has announced that he will quit playing at the end of this season, despite being aged only 27.

But he has promised to see out the season with his current club, Godmanchester Rovers, in the Eastern Counties Premier before hanging up his gloves.
