Current League Table

With the games coming thick and fast in April we went into the game on the back of a win at bottom club Whitton in what was a patchy performance but more than enough to get the job done.

McDonald missed out through illness, Parr served the first of his 2 match suspension and Yambasu also was absent with Traynior feeling the effects of a groin problem picked up during the Felixstowe clash.

We started really brightly and after 20 seconds Luke Brown rolled his marker and slid a beautiful pass in behind for Diaper who should have given us a dream start, but was off cue.

However LUKE BROWN got us in front on 7 minutes when he squeezed the ball in from the edge of the box.

HYEM added a second rifling home on 15 minutes and better was to come as HYEM again scored from a superb header from an excellent SHINN corner on 25.

From here we played some delicious stuff, linking and moving the ball well and could have added to the 3 we had with some excellent approach play.

Within 3 minutes of the restart the game was over as Brown and TOM SPARK linked to open up the visitors, with Tom cheating and volleying from close range for what was the goal of the night.

LUKE BROWN added a 5th finishing from close range after great work from Unwin who found himself in the opposition penalty area and coolly picked out Luke for his 2nd.

We did concede a disappointing goal on 70 minutes with the away teams only real attack of note. The players frustration was clear to see and pleasing as it reflects the standards they want to uphold.

We did deservedly have the last word with LUKE BROWN sealing his hat trick on 80 minutes after good play in the wide areas.

Luke gave an excellent all round performance , with his link play and movement he was a constant menace, adding the goals to his game has made him an outstanding addition to our talented squad.

On Saturday we welcome local ish rivals Newmarket for another crucial game in our bid for promotion.

We hope to have your support.
